Advantages of the PUDU MP2000
Plug-and-play: Ready for use without the need for site modifications
Thanks to multi-sensor navigation and edge intelligence, the PUDU MP2000 requires no reflectors, QR codes or complex platform integration. The environment is mapped once, after which travel destinations and workflows are configured. This shortens the commissioning process and reduces the need for structural and IT-related modifications. This means the robot can also be integrated into existing warehouses where the infrastructure cannot be altered.
AI-powered load carrier recognition for different types of pallets
The MP2000 supports standard three-skid pallets and frame pallets, and learns to recognise non-standard load carriers as well. This ensures precise fork engagement and stable transport even where standard pallets are not the only ones in circulation. In addition, the AI-based storage bay recognition system detects whether a bay is occupied or free, and selects the appropriate destination for each pick-up and drop-off journey – without the need for manual confirmation.
Adaptive alignment for reliable pallet handling
In practice, pallets are rarely positioned exactly where they are supposed to be. The PUDU MP2000 automatically compensates for manually placed Euro pallets with an offset of up to 15 cm and a tilt of up to 15°. This reduces the need for staff intervention and ensures that transport processes continue with minimal disruption, even when pallets are not positioned precisely.
20-second fork retraction for short cycle times
For recurring short-distance movements, it is not only the travel speed but also the pick-up time that determines throughput. The MP2000 retracts its forks in around 20 seconds and achieves speeds of up to 1.6 m/s when unloaded and 1.2 m/s when loaded. This shortens cycle times and speeds up the flow of goods between the individual stations.
Greater storage capacity in narrow aisles
The PUDU MP2000 can pick up pallets at a 90° angle even in aisles just 2 m wide, has a small turning radius and can operate with pallet spacing from 15 cm. This maintains storage density and allows existing space to be utilised efficiently. The intelligent clearance assessment also records the dimensions and contours of the load being handled and calculates the required clearance in real time. The robot safely negotiates thresholds of up to 10 mm and gaps of up to 35 mm.
Intelligent fleet orchestration
Multiple MP2000 units in warehouse logistics coordinate their operations decentrally: each robot makes its own decisions, plans its routes using obstacle detection and communicates with the other vehicles. Even in the event of a network failure, the fleet continues to operate in an orderly manner. This allows pallet transport to be expanded step by step – from the first robot to a larger fleet.
Omni-Sense Safety for operation in mixed traffic
Depth cameras, 3D LiDAR and other sensors form a multi-level safety system that detects people, vehicles and obstacles at different heights and positions in real time. Moving obstacles trigger evasive manoeuvres or a stop, whilst stationary obstacles are navigated around autonomously. This supports safe operation in areas where people, forklift trucks and robots share the workspace.
Flexible dual-mode operation and simple control
The MP2000 switches seamlessly between autonomous and manual modes. It carries out routine tasks independently, whilst the operator can intervene at any time if necessary. Material supply in production logistics can be triggered via PUDU Link, via API, by voice command or using task buttons. Connection to lift controls, automatic doors and other IoT devices is available as an option.
